Insider Trading IS illegal — and it should be. In fact, Senator Collins wrote the law signed by President Obama that explicitly ensured that Members of Congress and their staff are not exempt from insider trading laws.
Throughout her entire service in the Senate, Senator Collins has never bought, sold, or owned any individual shares of stock.
She believes that Members of Congress and their spouses should not be allowed to buy or sell individual stocks unless the stock portfolio is managed by an outside advisor who makes the decisions independently and without consultation with them.
30 years living the Washington DC lifestyle changes people. Getting rich from insider trading should be illegal, but Susan Collins doesn’t think so. Susan Collins is trying to keep it so senators can get rich playing the stock market. They’re making millions of dollars while we can’t even afford groceries and gas. We need to tell Susan Collins to stop the congressional stock trading.

She also voted for Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan, who dissented, and later Justice Kentanji Brown Jackson.
FACT: When Senator Collins evaluates judicial nominations, she weighs their qualifications, experience, and recommendations. One thing she does not consider is the political party of the President making the nomination.
Senator Collins voted for more of President Biden’s judicial nominees than any other Republican Senator–188 judges in total. Throughout her career, she has supported the confirmations of more judges nominated by Democratic Presidents than Republican.
Did you know Susan Collins was the deciding vote for Donald Trump’s Supreme Court justices who overturned Roe v. Wade? And she voted to put more than 100 Trump judges on the bench. Because of Susan Collins, states are banning abortion with no exceptions for rape or incest, and women are dying, and she’s still standing by it. I do not regret that vote. Tell Susan Collins, stop voting for Trump’s anti-choice judges.

Here are the facts Chuck Schumer and his partisan allies don’t want you to know:
FACT: Senator Collins was not the “deciding vote” for Brett Kavanaugh or any of the other conservative justices:
- Samuel Alito was confirmed by a margin of 58–42
- Senator Collins was not in the Senate when Clarence Thomas was confirmed.
- Neil Gorsuch was confirmed by a margin of 54–45
- Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed by a margin of 50–48 (with Vice President Mike Pence ready to cast a tie-breaking vote)
- Senator Collins voted against Amy Coney Barrett
Susan Collins broke her promise to protect Roe v. Wade. When Donald Trump called, she cast the deciding vote for his Supreme Court justices who overturned Roe v. Wade, and she voted to put more than 100 Trump judges on the bench. States are banning abortion without exceptions, and women are dying, but Susan Collins says, I do not regret that vote. Tell Susan Collins to stop breaking her word. Stop voting for Trump’s anti-choice judges.

These charges are truly beyond the pale — even for Chuck Schumer and his army of serial liars. Senator Collins has always supported releasing the Epstein files. She backed an amendment during the Appropriations Committee markup of the Department of Justice (DOJ) funding bill to require retention of records and evidence related to Jeffrey Epstein and a comprehensive report about the investigation. The amendment was adopted unanimously, but when Senator Collins tried to bring that measure to the Senate floor, a Democrat Senator who endorsed Troy Jackson objected. The Senate unanimously approved the release of the Epstein files a year ago, which Senator Collins called “an important step for the survivors of these heinous crimes.”
The ad also refers to Steve Schwarzman, the Chairman and CEO of Blackstone, Inc., as Jeffrey Epstein’s business partner – but they weren’t business partners… there is no evidence the two had ever interacted.
Susan Collins voted to cover up the Epstein files, even though she knew 14 year old girls were raped.

Also, Senator Collins voted against President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
She specifically cited her opposition to medicaid cuts as her reason for voting no.
- Including her vote against the Big Beautiful Bill, Susan Collins has voted against Medicaid cuts over a dozen times in just the last two years.
- She was recognized as a “Congressional Medicaid Champion” from ANCOR for her opposition to the Big Beautiful Bill and for her work to create the Rural Health Transformation Fund to provide $50 billion to rural hospitals, which Maine DHHS said will fund “strategic investments that strengthen operations and preserve access to care over the long term.”
I have voted or Susan Collins in the past. I felt she was the better choice. I do not feel that way anymore. When it matters, Susan Collins caves to Donald Trump. She was the deciding vote for Trump’s Supreme Court justices who overturned Roe V Wade and the deciding vote for Trump’s Medicaid cuts. Susan Collins is totally out of touch. I cannot trust her at all. Not anymore.

FACT: Senator Collins voted against final passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill – and was not the “deciding vote” on any related measures.
Senator Collins’ opponents are trying to mislead voters by using her vote on a procedural motion to say she voted for the bill. This alone is misleading, but she also was not the deciding vote, even on that motion. As FactCheck.org noted, without Collins’ vote on the procedural motion, the vote would have been tied 50-50, and Vice President JD Vance was present and prepared to break the tie. Collins ultimately voted against the legislation specifically because of its Medicaid provisions.
From the beginning of the debate on the One Big Beautiful Bill, Senator Collins stated publicly that she would oppose any final bill if its Medicaid cuts hurt Maine – and she did.
Here are the facts about Susan Collins and Medicaid. Susan Collins was the deciding vote to advance Donald Trump’s Medicaid cuts. Susan Collins was the deciding vote to advance the bill. Now, thousands more Mainers are expected to lose their Medicaid coverage. Hospitals and clinics are shutting down, all to give massive tax breaks for billionaires. Look up the facts yourself, and tell Susan Collins to stop voting for Trump’s healthcare cuts.

I’ve delivered thousands of babies. Trump’s Medicaid cuts are forcing labor and delivery units to close in Maine. When there’s an emergency, mothers will have to drive an hour or more to get to the hospital, jeopardizing the life of the baby and the mother. Susan Collins was the deciding vote to advance Trump’s Medicaid cuts so they can give billionaires a tax break. Every time it matters, Susan Collins caves to Donald Trump, and mothers and babies are suffering. When Senate’s responsible for the content of this ad.

In the ICU, I’ve seen patients being bankrupted by the cost of care, and they’re having to travel three and four hours to receive that care. This didn’t just happen. Susan Collins voted to support Donald Trump on the largest Medicaid cut in history. Healthcare is getting even more expensive. People are losing coverage. Labor and delivery centers are closing. Hospitals are closing. We need to tell Susan Collins to stop siding with Donald Trump. We can’t afford it.
